As a recent guest, I can confidently say that this hotel exceeded all of my expectations. The staff, led by Dana and Amparo, went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. And the food was absolutely delicious, with a variety of options to suit all tastes. I was so impressed with my experience at this hotel that I'm already planning a return trip to Cartagena, and of course, I'll be staying at this hotel again. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable experience in Cartagena. I booked this hotel as we had a car and it had plenty of parking. The hotel is out of the main tourist area and in a very local (and sometimes dirty) area but it still felt safe enough to walk around even at night. The hotel is very modern and clean and my husband enjoyed using the facilities at the gym. Our room was comfortable and clean with a nice bathroom and it overlooked the nearby park. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a big supermarket next door and walking distance to a Carrefour and Burger King. We walked into the centre of Cartagena and it was about a 25-30mins walk, a bit further to the port area. Check the opening times of the attractions though as everything was closed late Sunday and Monday during our stay. We drove to Cala Cortina, a beautiful little beach only about 5kms from the hotel, would definitely recommend a visit if you have a car.

You can pay 10€ at the hotel for their secure gated parking, but there is ample free parking outside the hotel. The hotel is located about a 25-minute walk from the port, in a quiet residential area. There is a bus service close by. Breakfast was excellent, as was the evening meal. However, the restaurant isn't open 7 evenings a week, so you'll need to check for specific dates. All of the hotel staff that we encountered were, without exception, friendly and helpful. We stayed in a "new-style" room with a huge comfy double bed - well worth the few extra euros!

As Cartagena is a relatively small town, the hotel ideally located to just go out and wander around the Old Town area. We enjoyed our stay and I have no qualms in recommending it to others.
